The seemingly carefree summer of the Johansson family is interrupted by the sudden outbreak of an epidemic caused by a virus of unknown origin. The illness spreads across the town, and forces the authorities to isolate entire districts. Gustav, who lives in one of the houses in the quarantined district, starts his own investigation to find out what it is that really threatens the lives of people living there. In the meantime, the situation is getting out of control and the family begin their struggle for survival.

In this non-stereotypical zombie horror, the atmosphere of terror is created through understatements, a unique soundtrack and stark realism. The darkness and coziness of the cinema won’t guarantee you complete safety and peace of mind.
