MEETING WITH STEFAN DARDA – POLISH MASTER OF HORROR

Splat!FilmFest and the Municipal Public Library (Filia nr 2 Miejskiej Biblioteki Publicznej) are happy to invite you to a meeting with the Polish master of horror – Stefan Darda. The meeting will promote the author’s whole catalogue.
Stefan Darda was born on 2 September 1972 in Tomaszów Lubelski, Poland. He graduated from music school and high school in his hometown, and then went on to study at Marie Skłodowska-Curie University in Lublin. That’s when his adventure with folk music began. He became a member of a well-known band “Orkiestra pod wezwaniem Świętego Mikołaja”, he toured and recorded with them until 1995. During his studies, Darda also worked at student tourist clubs, developing another passion. After graduating, he became a sailing enthusiast. In 1998, he moved to Przemyśl, where he lives to this day. His first novel came out in 2008, but his writing career began five years earlier with poetry. Darda published nine novels and a short stories collection.
