The most disgusting movie ever made.
KUSO is stylized as an improvised television network broadcast. It shows the world of deformed, degenerated survivors of an earthquake. Kuso has been recognized as the most disgusting movie ever made. This is not an exaggeration – the movie crosses all aesthetic and moral boundaries, and the viewer is incessantly flooded with abominable imagery. The abstract and absurd vision can be either utterly hated or loved with difficulty. Although the collage of grotesque and horrid scenes is exceptionally hard to stomach, one is unable to take their eyes off it. People with growths on their faces, worm soup, sex with a festering ulcer that gave a speech about love and family a while ago – this is only a part of the images that the viewer has to prepare for. The movie is a directorial debut of Flying Lotus, famous Los Angeles rapper, electronic music performer, DJ and music producer.
The screening of Kuso at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival caused a great sensation and turned out to be unbearable for many viewers, who had been warned that the movie was “brain-melting” and that it “takes no prisoners.” As the movie depicts all the worst things imaginable, and many more, it is advisable to think over the decision about watching it. Eating before viewing is not recommended.
