Voice is at a premium for the main character of the movie of Natalia Meta, an Argentinean director. Ines makes money on dubbing. In her spare time, she sings in the choir. Her psychological stability is disrupted by disturbing, difficult to interpret dreams.
The situation deteriorates during the disastrous event which took place on a holiday trip. Ines is on the rocks. Furthermore, her voice is failing. It is difficult to clearly diagnose the complaint. Although, some people convince that it is not necessarily a disease, suggesting the existence of a supernatural power, the title intruder, who attacked Ines in her sleep.
In her second movie, Natalia Meta boldly reaches for the formula of genre cinema. In doing so, she makes use of it in her original way. She intertwines the elements of horror with comedy moments. Consequently, she plays around with viewers’ attention. The tension of this sensual, lined with eroticism story is built through both convincing acting of Érika Rivas and through the expanded, creational sound layer.
