TROMA is a low-budget American film studio that for over 40 years stuns, skeeves, attacks the society, mocks all that is holy and has a lot of fun while doing it. Troma has on its conscience a cinema that is bad and drips with kitsch, but due to that approach, it’s one of the most iconic film studios in the world having a loyal fan-base (including Quentin Taratino). If TROMA had a motto, the words of Lloyd’s Kaufman (co-founder of the studio) would be a perfect fit: „Why spend 20 million on one movie, when you can spend it to make a hundred more”.
